We are proud to announce that NAMPOA and COGANAM (the Contractors Oil and Gas Association of Namibia) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU); a significant milestone in the journey to advance Namibia’s oil and gas sector.
This partnership brings together operators, contractors and service providers under a shared vision:
· to promote best practices and capacity building,
· to strengthen local content and supplier development, and
· to ensure Namibia’s petroleum sector delivers lasting socio-economic benefits for Namibians.
Through joint working groups on local content, immigration and work permits, infrastructure development, communications, legislative frameworks and corporate social responsibility, NAMPOA and COGANAM will engage government and industry partners to address regulatory and operational priorities, build local capacity, and drive sustainable growth.
