On 12 December 2025, NAMPOA had the privilege of hosting SBM Offshore’s Young Namibian Graduates for an information-sharing session.
The graduates provided insights into their professional journeys with SBM Offshore and exposure to global offshore operations, including their assignments in Kuala Lumpur and visits to FPSO facilities in Singapore. They shared their key learnings and perspectives on project execution, engineering and procurement across the FPSO lifecycle.
This exercise reflects the importance of skills transfer, exposure, and structured graduate development in building a sustainable and competitive Namibian oil and gas industry. NAMPOA is committed to supporting platforms that connect industry stakeholders with emerging talent for Namibia’s long-term capacity development objectives.
