About Us

Representing upstream petroleum operators in Namibia. Working together for a sustainable energy future.

Our Purpose

NAMPOA is a non-profit voluntary association established in 1992 to represent Namibia’s upstream oil and gas operators and provide a collaborative interface between industry, Government, regulators, communities and the public.

The association enables members to develop informed, harmonised industry positions and to engage constructively on policies, regulations and initiatives that support responsible petroleum development. In line with NDP6’s whole-of-government-and-society approach, NAMPOA works with public and private stakeholders to advance inclusive and sustainable growth, economic transformation, resilience, skills development, local value creation and employment opportunities.

More than

N$80 BILLION
