Today, NAMPOA had the pleasure of engaging with the CEO of the Bankers Association of Namibia, Dantagos Jimmy, to discuss the financial infrastructure readiness of Namibia’s banking sector and matters incidental thereto within the context of the country’s growing oil and gas industry.
As Namibia’s upstream sector evolves, information bridging and constructive cross-sector engagement remain some of the most important functions of advocacy bodies. Strong collaboration between industry associations is essential in ensuring preparedness, alignment, and informed participation across sectors.
Both associations agreed on the value of continuing and expanding this discussion going forward.
