NAMPOA was honoured to accept an invitation from the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) to participate in a stakeholder engagement as part of the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) mission currently underway in Namibia.

The discussions formed part of a broader assessment of the potential impact of the OECD/G20 Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax framework on Namibia’s investment environment, corporate income tax incentives, and competitiveness as an investment destination.

Several NAMPOA members participated both in person and virtually, sharing practical industry perspectives on incentive frameworks, regulatory challenges, and considerations for maintaining Namibia’s attractiveness to investments.

As an industry association, we believe that open dialogue and constructive exchange between government, regulators, and industry are essential to building a sustainable business environment. Such engagements provide valuable opportunities to ensure that policy development is informed by practical experience while supporting Namibia’s long-term economic development objectives.

We thank NAMRA and ATAF for creating this platform.
