NAMPOA was pleased to participate in the Bank of Namibia’s Oil & Gas Seminar on positioning Namibia’s financial sector for a sustainable oil and gas economy.
Representing NAMPOA on the panel, our Chairperson, Eduardo Rodriguez Tamayo, joined industry and financial sector leaders in an important discussion on how Namibia can maximise the opportunities presented by its emerging oil and gas sector while ensuring long-term national benefit.
He also emphasised the strong engagement between industry and government, including ongoing collaboration with the Upstream Petroleum Unit (UPU) and the Industrial Base Survey (IBS.02), which is helping build a clearer picture of Namibia’s capabilities and opportunities for local participation.
These conversations are critical to ensuring that Namibia develops a competitive, inclusive and sustainable petroleum sector that delivers lasting value for the nation. We thank the Bank of Namibia for convening this important dialogue.
